I found this mirror at a yard sale it cost me$2.00 its oval and beveled all around the edge I really don't know what kind of wood that I made the frame from at the time I thought it was walnut now I'm not sure,could be cherry?
That is almost certainly not Walnut which often has a dark chocolate appearance, sometimes with a hint of purple, and near the new wood layers runs to a color similar to pine. Without sanding, scraping or cutting it, I'd guess Cherry - um - maybe. Best regards, Don "Dances with Wood" Butler
