Wall hamging t.v.cabinet

I built this cabinet to hold a small t.v. above my wifes tread mill now she can walk to hearts desire and watch t.v. as she goes.   both front door's slide back into the cabinet and there is a removable tray so we can slide the t.v. out and turn it from side to side 

I'm back

I have been off the net for almost a year now and would like to announce that I have returned I realize all of you that did come to this site probably have quit looking and I will do my best to let you know I have returned. Sorry to all of you that have been wondering where I have been. I have been forced to have my internet disconected because of financial reasons I wasn,t givin the chance to say anything to anyone I am currently on my daughters net and will start coming on from time to time with new projects and bitches..........

Lack of work

I've not had a lack of work . Just that most of it is not wood working related I haven;t gotten to spend a lot of time in my shop thru the Holiday season which I would have liked to. I am concidering going to video and am practicing at that but I am not comfortable putting anything out there for someone else to see Yet. The day is coming I'm still trying to figure out how to film everything with out being in the shots . I have 2 compressors in my shop A little pancake compressor and a 25gal compressor . Yhey both decided to break about 2 days apart over Christmas week so I have been trying to fix at least 1 of them  .As soon as I get that done I will be able to return to wood working on a reg. basis I think.

WALL HUNG MIRROR

I'm sorry for not posting anything sooner but I've been so busy with my Christmas prep that I just didn't have time . I spent the bigger part of last week end putting up out door lights in the rain I've been fortunate the last few years the weather has been clear but not this year. The rain only slows me down but it won't stop me. I am working on one wood project it's a wall hung mirror that will be approx. 5' 6" tall and 2'6" wide to hang in our bedroom . I designed the frame to mimic a mirror thats on top of an old antique chest of drawers that we have . I will post pictures later today of the mirror and my progress of the frame.  The frame is built out of solid cherry and segmented for strength. As a side note our holiday craft show was a huge success We have already started planning next years event........Thanks for reading

Christmas craft show

Haven't been doing much in my shop the past couple of weeks other than helping my wife get ready for her annual craft show. She builds things all year long and then turns our house into a small store and invites people to come and look and possibly buy it's how she makes her Christmas money. Yesterday was the 1st. day [11-19-10] It will be going on till sunday night [11-21-10 ] till 6 o-clock If any one is close to our neck of the woods feel free to stop by and take a look........These pics are only a small sample of her crafts She has far too many items to puy pictures of all of them.
